Ways To Give

The NSNC relies on generous contributions from donors and volunteers to operate, covering essentials such as kennels, operating tables, surgical instruments, sutures, gauze, gloves, vaccines, leashes, collars, flea treatments, shampoos, toys, and housing for small animals. Additionally, dog food, cat food, milk supplements, and treats are also funded through their kindness.

What are we always in need of?
We require absorbable sutures (monocryl, vicryl, PDS, Catgut, plaingut) in sizes 0, 1-0, 2-0, and 3-0.

Essential consumable supplies include disposable gloves, Purell hand sanitizer, gauze, disposable drapes, iodine, rubbing alcohol, medical tape, Nexgard flea/tick medications, activated charcoal (Toxiban), leashes, collars, blue Dawn dish soap, dog cone collars for post-surgery care, dog beds, dog/cat toys, vitamins, newspapers, food, and of course, monetary donations!

What types of volunteering are available?
We are always in need of donors, sponsors, fosters, and flight angels

What types of volunteering do we require?

Individual donors: We consistently need supplies and financial contributions. Donations can be in the form of goods or cash, and both are greatly appreciated.

Fostering: If you have a loving and caring heart and are willing to help homeless and injured animals, we are in search of trusted fosters. (screening is required)

Adoption: Our adorable jam pups and cats are always looking for their forever homes. We will assist in arranging their journey to you, whether it is local or international.

Flight Angels: These wonderful volunteers help transport our pups and cats to their new homes abroad. There is NO cost involved; all that is required is for you to carry the cutest carry-on you have ever had, along with the joy of bringing them to their new life.

The NSNC encourages you to explore ways to support at-risk and homeless animals and give them a second chance. Join us as a donor or volunteer today!! We are thrilled to announce that we now have a Venmo, PayPal, and GoFundMe!

1. Let us know if you can help, and we'll see if an animal is going your way! If a dog or cat needs to fly to your destination, you will be matched with the animal.

2. Pet Reservation - We will handle all aspects of the pet flight reservation and expenses. You just sit back, relax, and enjoy Jamaica!

3. Meet us at the airport about 2 hours before your departure. A volunteer will meet you at the airport with your flight buddy.

4. Check your flight buddy in. You will check your furry friend at the airline counter, where they will tag the pet carrier. Depending on the size, the animal will be taken and put in the cargo hold, or you will continue with your travel buddy to the gate.

5. Arrival at Destination. A volunteer or new owner will meet you at the exit gate to pick up your travel buddy!
